Pascua-Lama suspended

The operations of the Pascua Lama project owned by Barrick Gold corporation has been suspended following a court order due to environmental violations. This is the last of a series of events that have seen the company lose the value of its share. Since February 2013 the company has been fined more than US $ 120 million for irregularities.
